From Asia: Goods coming from Asia arrive by vessel at the Port of Vancouver. From the container terminal Deltaport, they are loaded onto trains and moved seamlessly to their final destinations.

Opening in late 2007, the new Port of Prince Rupert Container Terminal in northern British Columbia will initially handle 500,000 TEUs with future estimates of 2,000,000 TEUs in 2010. As the closest port to Asia, sailing time is reduced by up to 58 hours.

From Europe: The Port of Halifax is the preferred connection with Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. One full day closer to Europe than other North American ports means that as soon as your goods arrive at Halifax, they are moved quickly from port onto rail and then directly to Frank C.
